Actually Quick Meals ep 4: Spicy Miso Butter Noodles 🍜🧈 These are inspired by some noodles my bestie made for me, but hers were even better because she added a whole bulb of roasted garlic 🧄 so I highly recommend doing that if you have the time. In any case, these are so flavourful, especially for how quick they are. You must make them. Here’s how: 1 tbsp butter (I used dairy free) 1/2 tbsp white miso paste 1/2-1 tsp gochujang (depending on how spicy you want them) 1/2 tsp garlic powder* 1-2 tbsps hot water (I used the pasta cooking water) 150g pasta, cooked to al dente (I used spaghetti) thinly sliced green onion for garnish (optional) 1. In your serving bowl, melt butter. Then add miso paste, gochujang and garlic powder and stir to combine. Add hot water in small increments and stir through until smooth. 2. Add drained pasta to the sauce and stir to coat the noodles, adding small splashes of pasta water as needed. Top with green onion and enjoy! *to use roasted garlic instead, slice a bulb of garlic in half, drizzle both halves with olive oil, close back up, wrap in foil and roast in an air fryer, toaster oven or conventional oven for 25 minutes. Allow it to cool completely before squeezing out the roasted cloves from one of the halves. Mash with a fork and stir into the rest of the sauce ingredients. #misobutter #butterpasta #butternoodles #gochujang
